The Mossberg 500 JIC Mariner is a portable 12 gauge pump-action shotgun finished in corrosion-resistant Marinecote for maritime and wet-environment use. The model ships in a water-resistant storage tube with carrying strap and includes preparedness tools (multi-tool & knife).
Built on the 500 platform, the JIC Mariner features an 18.5in cylinder-bore barrel, top-mounted ambidextrous safety, twin action bars and dual extractors. It is chambered for 3" shells and has a listed 2.75" magazine capacity of 5+1 (manufacturer notes capacity reduces by one with 3" shells).
