This item is a very rare Mauser 96 American. It is a straight-pull bolt action rifle, that was imported for only two or three years in the United States. It is chambered for .270 Winchester, and has Redfield scope bases installed. It is in very nice shape, with just a few light hunting/usage dings (96%-98%). The straigt-pull design allows for the scope to be mounted very low on the rifle. Let me know if you have questions or would like more pictures. Thanks for looking.
