Mid-range Serial No. : 81,3xx, made between 1 Finish shows honest wear consistent with use. Nickel strong on barrel & ejector, thinning on half of cylinder. Rear of frame & backstap patinated. Enough remaining Nickel to present well in display or shadow box. Crisp action, hammer & trigger function smartly. Cylinder has positive rotation, some end shake on lock-up. Walnut grips VG-Exc, w no cracks, chips, or dings. Curious mark on backstrap - heavy notch that does not extend into the wood of the grip. Old ' Kill' notch ?
