Early Bright Blue are very Scarce... This Walther, Model HP pistol was manufactured to the HIGHEST WORLD STANDARDS in late 30's... The left side is marked with the WALTHER Banner followed by the two-line factory legend and caliber followed by "Mod.HP"... The serial number (2640) is located on the front of the barrel lug, inside on the upper left rail, and on the right side of the frame above the trigger guard... The bottom of the locking block is also numbered "640"... The right side of the slide, frame and barrel are all stamped with the EARLY commercial "Eagle/N" proofmark,... It is complete with its early unmarked magazines...It has the standard early commercial fixed sights and correct early black checkered plastic grips that are marked on the backsides with the four makers of "Cewe/480/makers mark/V7 Z3/1... The pistol retains the original prewar highly polished blue finish...

Bright Clean Deep Groove Barrel with 98% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish overall with wear on the edges and high spots with thinning on the lower front grip strap and some minor dents present on the right side of the muzzle... The grips are excellent with nice checkering on both sides with minor handling marks... This pistol has matching numbers and correct proofmarks...
