Made in 1980, this is the iconic detective's concealed service revolver. Prefered over the cheaper and more common Smith and Wesson Chief's Special and providing six shots instead of five, this specimen has minor wear on the sharp edges but retains 90-95% of the original blueing. Mechanically perfect, a fine mirror-like bore, and excellent grips whichever you choose. Examine the photographs to make your own determination on the condition. I prefer the older, small medallion walnut grips for looks, but the later walnut grips fill one's hand better and improve accuracy. Take the grips that YOU like and I will sell the others elsewhere.
