Barrel is 5.5 inches in length. Pistol was manufactured in 1924. Minor wear in the barrel bluing from the holster. The barrel is in excellent condition. This pistol has been in our family since 1946, and has not been shot more than 500 times. I'm no expert, but I would say the pistol is in very good condition. It functions and fires perfectly. Additionally, pistol comes with a holster made in New Mexico by a manufacturer no longer in business. The holster has minor wear that any good leather worker could repair with ease. Also, have letter of authenticity from Colt, signed by Kathleen Hoyt.
