It's date of production was 3/29/2001. For those that know Kimbers this is the era where their 1911's were absolutely flawless. The gun is completely stock minus the grips and replaced recoil spring. I want to point out very minor points of wear so you are 100% informed. You can see in the picture there is a very small amount of finish wear around the nose, a small amount of slide/frame wear on the right side of the dust cover, a small amount of finish wear on the left side thumb safety, and small amount of wear on the extended mag well. I am very particular about my firearms and there are no scratches or nicks in the finish, just small amounts of wear from use. The gun has never had one issue and has been 100% flawless with all ammo including hollow points. The gun has on custom one of a kind slim line VZ grips with the NRA logo in them, I also have cocobolo slim line grips that came with the gun, or mid sized wood grips that came off a Kimber Aegis. The factory night sights are burnt out however I have a new set of nights sights I removed from the Kimber Aegis that are included for no charge if desired. $1500 with all three grips.
