Description: This is a Springfield M1 Garand chambered to use 7.62 Nato or .308. Stock’s in excellent shape, with no scratches. Metal hardware is in very good shape, finish is good. Sights are in good condition. Bore looks good and the Muzzle crown is in good condition. Ejection and extraction are consistent and good. Nicely accurate. Several people have asked me about the serial number on the barrel. I have been unable to find one. However, the number on the trigger housing is D 28291-** with the numbers Y056(Greek Letter Delta). The Bolt number is 0-28287. The receiver number is 28891**. This is a quality weapon, but like any older weapon, you should have it checked out by your gunsmith before firing in order to make my lawyer happy. Please make sure this is legal in your state, county or city. This item must ship to an FFL, so please make sure that your FFL will accept shipments from a non FFL holder. If they insist that it come from a registered FFL holder there will be an additional $35.00 charge to pay for my FFL holder’s fees.
