According to research, this pistol was manufactured in 1944. It was one of the 10,450 guns from a second installment of the first shipment delivered to Nazi Germany before allied invasion forces reached southern France. The "WaAD20" Waffenamt inspection stamp and serial number (8384) are evident. The barrel breach is marked "PIST.PATR.08" folllowed by a proof mark. An original ASTRA magazine with "8384" etched into the bottom is included. The frame and slide have been inspected and found to have no cracks or faults..
