Colt Defense LLC has not only done an excellent job manufacturing these fine carbines, their description is concise and to the point: The LE6900 Law Enforcement Light carbine has a full floated 16.1 inch barrel with one piece forged forend. It comes with a single stage match trigger and aluminum hand guard, and A2 flashhider. Its six position collapsible butt stock includes an ambidextrous quick detach sling swivel pocket. Trigger guard is solid one piece oversized to permit use of gloves. Flat top receiver components are forged upper and lower; and with forged charging handle. Note that the LE6900 does not have a forward bolt assist on its receiver. This carbine includes two each Picatinny or Weaver rail provisions, one centered atop the forend, and the other on the upper receiver itself. Issue magazine is a 20 Round Colt. In many areas, these fine little rifles command prices upwards of $2,000.00 apiece.
