LG2647 Despite getting very short shrift in Fjiestad’s Blue Book, Noble Firearms made some excellent quality rifles and shotguns. This is one of the short-lived company’s finest, the Noble 235G Slide Action Rifle in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle. Barrel is marked Noble --- Model 335 G / Noble Mfg. Co. Inc. Haydenville Mass. / .22 Cal Short-Long-Long Rifle. This rifle comes to us from a local family who had it since it was bought new in Texas around 1960. Original bluing is quite strong on its metal surfaces with a moderate amount of freckling. Front trigger guard screw and right side forend screw are replacements. The forend is still glossy, but the buttstock has only perhaps 1/2 of its original finish. Note that it needs a forend screw and a rear sight elevator; we will try our best and have those installed by the time it is up and running on Guns America. We rate this Noble as Very Good, but photos ought to be sufficient for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; Bore, chamber, and entire mechanism are all excellent. Barrel is 24 inch, with short magazine tube that will hold approximately 14 Long Rifle Rounds. The Noble Manufacturing Company of Haydenville, Massachusetts was only in business from 1953 to 1971, and we estimate this one was made around 1960. It was never serial numbered. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
