NEW LOWER PRICE. WON'T LAST LONG AT THIS PRICE!!
Limited run of conversions made by Gibbs Rifle Co in the 2000-2001 timeframe. No longer available. Modeled after the World War-II Australian No. 6 Jungle Carbine prototypes, the Gibbs No. 7 is a conversion of the excellent “2A” No 1 MKIII Lee-Enfield Rifle built at the Royal Firearms Industries facility in Ishapore India in the 1960’s. The Ishapore Enfields were high quality military rifles built of modern Chrome Vandium steel to handle the increased pressure of the 7.62mm NATO round. This conversion includes an exact replica of the steel flash suppressor that was fitted to the more familiar British No 5 Jungle carbine in Cal .303. The owner has further enhanced this handy rifle by installing an AO Industries forward mount scout scope mount with red-dot optical sight and a stock mounted pouch which holds spare ammo mounted on stripper clips. 20 inch barrel, 12 round box magazine fed by stripper clips. Overall excellent shape but does have some scratches on the left side of the stock.
