Description:
Here is the current, state-of-the-art form of the Classic Colt 1911 Government model that retains the traditional look and balance of John M. Browning's invention with updates that maintain its status as the leader in combat handgunning. This is the 5 inch barrel stainless steel Colt Series 80 Government, catalog #O1091, .45 ACP. It's entirely stainless steel, 8 1/2 inches overall length, serrated spur hammer, aluminum combat trigger, 3-dot sights, with checkered rubber Rampant Colt grips. Both grip safety and thumb safety are standard configuration. Aluminum, not plastic, trigger is standard, and all 1991 series Colts, this one included, come with beveled magazine well and two 7 shot magazines. Finish, as the photos of an actual stock specimen show, is matte stainless verticals with brushed stainless side features. Sights are black anodized finish, white 3 dot type. Weight empty is the standard 38 ounces. This series 80, in addition to its main safety and right hand shooter’s main safety, also has a firing pin safety. No wonder, then, that folk are skittish over the plastic pistols on the market that have no manually operated safety. In a market awash with plastic, here is the original real thing, all 38 oz. of it. Own this original classic, still the definitive combat handgun, for only $ 1139.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
