This is a rare find as it has a matte nickel appearance, we believe it is the electroless nickel finish. Serial number is P38-xxx, it was likely made in the early 1980s. This gun is in excellent used condition. It has been fired. There are no scratches. Wraparound wood grips are very close to perfect, with only the slightest handling marks. The front of the cylinder is slightly darkened from firing, and there is a little bit of powder in the usual area, above the barrel inside frame. Bore looks excellent. This is a third issue Detective, with the shrouded ejector rod. It has a ramp front sight, notch rear sight. 6 shot cylinder. No box or papers. Ships free to FFL.
