Rifle has mismatched serial numbers. The receiver is marked DUV, the German code for the Berliner Lubecker Maschinenfabriken Werke, in Lubeck, German. Date of manufacture is 1941. The rifle has its original WWII ZF41 scope mount rail and ZF41 scope mount marked from the same manufacturer, DUV. The mount is Waffen proofed by inspector 214. The scope is a precision made reproduction with both sun shades. The optics on this historic scope are flawless. The rifle sling appears original. No import marks are visible. The stock with its cupped buttplate has no markings or cartouche(s). The bolt does not have any Waffen marks, this is an indication it may not be original to the rifle. Serial number 5336.
