Description: Shoppers please note that we will not accept any returns on this revolver or its parts. The description and photos are sufficient. As our Late Proprietor used to say, we guarantee it not to shoot; if it shoots and functions well, then we’ll issue a refund. This is a specimen of a long 55 year run of one of the most popular revolvers ever made, the Iver Johnson .32 Safety Hammerless, manufactured from 1892 until about 1950. From this revolver’s D74000 range serial number, and from Mr. Goforth’s postings, we estimate it was manufactured in 1901, Second Model made for Black Powder Cartridges and not designed to use Smokeless Powder Modern Cartridges. Type is full time double action tip-up, caliber .38 S&W Short Cartridge with low velocity loads, 3 1/4 inch barrel. Surface detractions are extensive, as the photos show. Very little bluing remains, and some of the surfaces have been sanded. Superficial pitting affects perhaps 20 percent of the surfaces. We classify this Iver Johnson as only Fair, at best. It seems to be missing the rotor that engages the cartidge ejector. The ejector itself is intact, but if it fires, it will need its cartridges removed by removing the cylinder, a matter easily achieved by lifting the rear sight lever. Firing pin appears intact but flattened, as the photos will show, and the firing pin bushing is home made brass. Note the superb condition of the grips. Wear is confined to the lower area sides, a small amount of flattening on each panel. Screw shows brown toning throughout, but slot stress is only moderate on the screw. Brass screw escutcheons are intact and excellent. Bore and cylinder chambers show about 25 percent light internal pitting. We’re offering this revolver’s parts as follows:

- Grips and screw - $ 59.00

- Barrel and Top Strap Assembly - $ 59.00

- Frame - SOLD

- Trigger Assembly - $ SOLD

Cylinder - SOLD

For best results, however, just buy the whole thing – all for only $ 119.00. No FFL Required for parts only. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
