No SS#(21 stamped on bolt) From a mid-west estate sale a pre-war custom Mauser bolt action rifle 8mm cal. (standard WWII 8x57). The wood is in good condition with the exception of a small crack near the trigger and a chip at the toe(see photos). The custom stock has very nice checkering and good finish however there are several dents and dings from 100 years of use (see photos). Metal butt plate and other components are all in tact. I have not taken this gun apart therefore I don't know if there are numbers stamped on the hidden parts. The metal finish appears to be original and is in good condition with normal wear (see photos). The 29" barrel has Express rear and ramp front sights. I am not a collector or an expert and know very little about this type of gun. This rifle has a nice, bore (I have not cleaned this gun). This Mauser is in perfect working condition and should be a lot of fun to shoot.
