Description: MERKEL Model 360EL SIDE x SIDE ... 410 gauge ... 28" solid rib barrel (marked "No. 49 of 100") ... 3" chambers ... choked Mod/Full ... Anson & Deely box lock action ... Greener cross bolt ... Holland & Holland style ejectors ... LOP 14 1/2" to front trigger ... drop @ comb 1 1/4" ... drop @ heel 2" ... double triggers.

LIMITED EDITION No. 49 OF 100 by MASTER ENGRAVER GERHARD LIEBSCHER!

The receiver is deep relief engraved with 2 pheasants in a field scene on the left and 2 rabbits in a field scene on the right. Scroll pattern surrounds these scenes and flows over to the bottom of the receiver, trigger guard and break lever. A simple zig-zag pattern covers the lower tang and the forend hardware. The left side of the receiver is signed "GL".

Very highly figured English walnut with a fine oil finish is used for the straight grip stock and splinter forearm. A pebble grain, locking, leather takedown luggage case protects the gun and the Merkel box, numbered to the gun completes the package.
