Vintage 1894 Winchester with 26" round barrel and full magazine. Bore is excellent, sharp rifling and absolutely no pitting or frosting, I would the bore a 9+ on a 1 to 10 scale. 75% remaining blue coverage with areas of thinning. Winchester flat top sporting rear sight and #21 front sight. Receiver is mechanically excellent, feeds, chambers and ejects smoothly, no remaining finish on receiver, mostly silvered out as is typical with the high nickel steel Winchester used in that period. Stock and forend are tight and fit properly, no cracks or extra holes. The wood has extra nice grain, the only flaw are a small chip on either side of the upper tang, unfortunately a design weakness in these old Winchester stocks. A good solid Winchester for your collection and fine for collecting some venison this fall, sound be a great shooter with that excellent bore! Payment usps money order.
