Metal surfaces of this steel frame revolver retain 99% original blue finish, the trigger is blued and the hammer sides are finished bright. The ejector housing is a Type 4 and thumbpiece is the Type 3 design. This revolver has fixed sights, roll-engraved smooth cylinder, brass anodized triggerguard and the smooth walnut grips with small silver inlaid medallions rate excellent. This first year, 1971 produced Super Bearcat 2-screw is in very nice condition. The transfer bar safety update has not been performed on this revolver.
