Pre-ban, MFG in the Cugir plant. You can tell this is a true Romanian by the empty triangle stamp before the serial number (not a WASR). The weapon has all matching numbers, a 16.5 inch Chrome-lined barrel with excellent shine and good rifling, sites line up exact. I love my weapons and always clean immediately, then store. The furniture is Tapco stock and Fore-end, with a newer Hogue pistol grip. The weapon comes with 1-30rd Tapco magazine, nice bayonet, 2 extra muzzle brakes, origial grip, and russian buttpad. This has been one of my favorite AK's, light weight, very accurate, extremely reliable, no FTE's or FTF's I can remember in 12+ years of ownership, eats any ammo, loves Wolf 123 gr HP. I live in AZ. and this weapon has been safe stored when not in use, i.e. no rust and the metal has hardly a scratch, furniture is also in excellent condition. I will miss this weapon but I have 2 boy's in College and need to sell. This is a fine rifle you will be proud to own. No sales to California (sorry).
