Description: From its home in Southern Illinois comes this very attractive specimen of Ithaca’s best loved shotgun, the Model 37 Featherlight, chambered in 20 gauge. From its 371050000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1969. Manufacturer, of course, was Ithaca Gun Co., of Ithaca, NY; and it is so marked on its barrel. Designer was John Moses Browning, beginning with the Remington model 17. Construction is entirely steel metal, with American Walnut semi beavertail forend and original but owner modified buttstock. Barrel is 28 inch plain Ray-Bar ® red fiber optic sight, 2 3/4 inch 20 gauge chambering Modified Choke, .595 muzzle diameter. Magazine holds 3 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells, 3+1 capacity. Receiver has Ithaca’s classic Duck and Pheasant engraved scenes on its side. Safety is trigger guard mounted, for a right handed shooter. Type is pump or slide action shotgun, and since this early Ithaca does not have a disconnector, the operator can fire with his or her off hand. Buttstock length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the face of the .225 smooth faced steel trigger to the end of the factory recoil pad. Buttstock drop is the standard 1 1/2 to 2 1/2, but it has a pronounced 1 inch right hand cant. Weight empty is 6 pounds, 8 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. Overall length is 47 inches. Surface detractions on this specimen are moderate, principally where the buttstock was dressed down at its upper junction with the receiver. Forend shows moderate edge wear on its rear section. Metal wear is minimal, only faint amounts of edge wear and inconspicuous occasional freckles. We rate this Ithaca as Very Good, 75 to 80 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. From the appearance of the slide arm, bolt, and extractor, we estimate this 37 has been fired between 500 and 1000 rounds. This is a well preserved and eminently serviceable shotgun. We’re offering it for only $ 339.00.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
