Pistol was the standard sidearm of the Yugoslavian army. Adopted in 1957, it was a straightforward copy of the Soviet Tokarev TT pistol, although the M57 had a longer grip with a bigger magazine holding nine rounds. Pistol shows holster wear. All matching serial numbers. Bore is dark with strong lands. Comes with extra magazine and cleaning rod. The Yugoslavian Tokarev is not a Curio & Relic pistol since no date of manufacture is stamped on the gun. Gun bears the crest of the former country of Yugoslavia.
