The rifle is a pre-war import, marked “Made in Germany” on the bottom of the butt stock. The rifle has a 24-inch barrel in a large ring action. All parts have matching serial numbers. The rifle displays some reasonable field wear, and we would rate the bluing to be 90% plus. Condition of the bore and chamber are excellent. The stock has a slender build with a schnabel style tip in the forend and a monte carlo cheek piece for the right handed shooter. Sling swivels are the original. Rear flip up leaf sights are graduated for 100, 200, and 300 meters. Rifle weighs 7 pounds unloaded, and has a 14.25-inch length of pull, and approximately a 5lb trigger pull.
