This late production modest model revolver retains 99% of its original blue finish showing the beginning of a drag line on the cylinder mostly within the notches. The original grips are in very good plus condition with no points flattened but showing a depression on the bottom of each grip panel and some denting at the bottom of the base near the backstrap. Included is a Colt wood grained box with styrofoam inserts which while period does not have a label. The box is in generally good condition which while complete has tattered end flaps. Also present is a Colt manual. In all an excellent representation of what is arguably one of the best American made revolvers ever manufactured.
