Armscor of the Philippines launched its business the same year we did, 1952; so the Filipino Gunsmiths have many more years of experience with their 1911A1 pistols than the Upstart Brazilians do. This offering is for Armscor / Rock Island’s new Colt Delta type 10mm, the 1911A1 MSP, a pistol that is well enough constructed to handle the Power House 10mm round. Construction is all steel, with traditional military parkerized finish and silver inlay slide marking. Barrel is 5 inch Government or Delta Length, but with Detonics style bell nosed muzzle area and full length stainless guide rod. Hammer is skeleton serrated Commander type .275 wide, and with matching serrated face black anodized skeleton trigger that has overtravel adjustment. Trigger pull was a crisp 5 pounds with negligible felt creep on the photo specimen. Sights are Red High Visibility Fiber Optic, dovetailed front with Windage and Elevation Adjustable LPA Italian made white dot rear, dovetailed into the slide . Grip safety is flat paddle beavertail with low serrations; and main safety is extension serrated ambidextrous. This variant is series 70 style in that it does NOT have a firing pin safety, no firing pin block. Magazine is Metalforms all stainless 9 shot, and Colt and Mec-Gar Delta Elite Magazine work just fine in this Armscor. Grips are damascus type attractive stippled metal alloy; this pistol, of course, will accept any type Government grip. Note the removable magazine well funnel for easy loading. Weight empty is 42 1/8 ounces with center of gravity at the front strap / trigger guard junction. This is an excellent pistol and a fearsome caliber. Replacement pricing on a Colt Delta Gold Cup, the only competitor in this one’s class, is $1500.00. This pistol is an exceptional value, then, at only $ 659.00. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
