From a good home in Knox County Tennessee comes this very attractive little Harrington and Richardson 949 Sidekick revolver. Its appearance copies Colt Single Action styling to some extent, with its factory walnut grips, side gate for loading, and ejection rod, but it is classic H&R Double action all the way. Barrel is 5 1/2 inch heavy barrel, and these fine little revolvers were always pretty accurate. Serial number prefix is AH, which dates it to 1971, and this 949 was manufactured in Worcester, not in Gardner, MA. Surface wear is only moderate, with faint amounts of whitening on the muzzle, moderate amounts of browning on the never-blued sides of the serrated spur hammer, and inconspicuous freckling here and there to its blue finish. Its one piece glossy finished walnut grip has a minimal amount of scouring. We rate it as Very Good, close to Excellent, since no more than 15 percent of its surfaces are affected by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice so that our distinguished shoppers can judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Rear cylinder face does not show any signs of pinging, so its family of school teachers had enough sense not to ever dry fire it. Double action trigger pull is exceptionally smooth for an H&R, and the single action pull gauges at 4 1/4 pounds with negligible felt creep. We’re offering this fine, attractive, Nixon Era H&R 949 for only $ 289.00.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $10 lower 48; $30 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
