Description:
Here we have a Heckler & Koch 770 semi-automatic rifle in .308 Winchester with many, many extras just in time for Christmas. The rifle is in very excellent condition (99% blue/99% wood), featuring the slim-line cocking handle, a beautiful checkered walnut stock w/ a a straight-edge cheek rest and Schnabel tip, rear express sights, and the early full-length barrel w/ polygonal rifling for even greater velocity.
The rare and expensive factory extras include:
4 10-round magazines (Valued at $100 each), 1 3-round magazine (Valued at $80), 2 extra HK buffers (New) (~$25.00 each), 1 extra HK firing pin (New) (~$60), 2 HK firing pin springs (New) (~$25.00 each), 1 extra HK cocking handle (New) (~$60.00), 1 PDF manual or a print-out of the same ($15 value), and the rare HK quick-detach scope mount ($450 value).
Also included are:
A New Leupold scope (VX III) w/ box & papers ($400 value), a nice leather sling ($30 value), a hard plastic case ($25 value), a soft glove-type case ($5 value), a Guns & Ammo 1979 edition featuring the rifle ($15 value), and Gangarosa's book "Heckler & Koch: Armorers of the Free World" which also features this fine rifle ($30 value).
This rifle has not been imported since '86, so get yours while you still can, as this one is priced to sell - you do the math.
Additional photos available upon request, and I will happily answer any questions. Serious buyers only, please. Finally, no returns, warranties, or guarantees; item is being sold as-is. I hate to part with it, but I need the funds to buy a house while the market still favors me. Personal checks, major credit card checks, and money orders accepted, but your payment must clear before I send the gun to your local FFL. Thank you for looking.
