This early Vaquero bright finish stainless steel revolver retains 95% finish showing slight scuffing of the frame, minor scuffing at the muzzle resulting from holster wear and a minor drag line around the cylinder. Mechanically the lock up is tight and cylinder indexing is positive. This revolver originally started out with a birds head grip. The previous owner had a Stainless Dragoon square–back Super Black Hawk type Plow grip handle professionally installed by Larocca Gun Works of Worcester MA. Features include both grip frames (birds head and Dragoon), genuine black “Buffalo Horn grip panels on the Dragoon grip frame and a grey case numbered to the gun.
