For your consideration we have an early Baker double barrel shotgun. Top of the barrel is marked L.C. Smith Maker Of Baker Gun Syracuse N.Y. Damascus Steel. All matching numbers. Inside top of the receiver is marked Patd Aug. 31, 1875 July 29, 1878. The forearm is marked June 1880. Barrel is 32 inches long. The bore is pitted and pretty tough. There looks to be a slight bulge in the very end of the left barrel. Tiny crack in the forearm wood. The stock is pretty good. Some scratches and nics, but no cracks. This will proabably qualify for a C & R. This is the model that opens by pushing the trigger forward. Locks up nice and tight. A fine speciman for your collection. Add $25 for shipping. Offers considered.
Shipping will be $25.00 Insurance is optional and extra.
