VG+ bores. Marked on the bbls is "J P Sauer & Son, Suhl". It has a flip up tang sight. Double triggers. Side lever opening. Pistol grip stock in very nice cond. Fancy burl wood is excellent with looks to be original varnish. Nice aged patina left as was found in estate condition. The side lock receiver is delicately engraved. Mechanics are fine. Sharp little gun. Very few sidelocks were made as stated in material researched. Bores seam shiny and unpitted. Rifle bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Receiver has nice fading case color remaining. Typical German scroll engraving. Locks up tight and on face with all numbers match and everything works as it should. Very nice condition overall. Very rarely seen offered for sale. Gun will be shipped broken down for smaller safer package. Placing the rifle balanced, scale says 7 pounds 10 ounces, unloaded. Thanks.
