From its AL serial number prefix, this steel frame Harrington and Richardson Model 733 Revolver left the factory in Worcester, Massachusetts in President Nixon’s Second Inaugural Year, 1973. It made its way to Knox County, Tennessee where it has been well cared for and little used by a family of school teachers up until the time we traded for it recently. This is a somewhat ugly, but excellent quality, little US Made Steel Frame Revolver. Finish is brushed chrome, with original black polymer grips and blue steel trigger strut. Cylinder is smooth face, recessed rear face 6 shot, .32 S&W or .32 S&W Long cartridges interchangeably. This little .32 is strong enough to handle souped up Georgia and East Tennessee reloads as well. Barrel is medium weight 2 1/2 inch pinned with steel rivet; smooth combat trigger and serrated spur hammer with floating firing pin. Surface detractions are minimal, only edge scouring. We rate this Model 733 as Excellent, since no more than 10 percent of its surfaces are affected by any kind of wear in our estimation. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. From its condition, from the absence of any significant amounts of carbon residue on the cylinder face, and from our knowledge of the owning family, it has been fired fewer than 100 rounds in its entire life.
