FABARM, GAMMA 2
This is a very lightly used Fabarm Gamma 2 Sporting over/under 12 GA with 30" barrels. This gun is in excellent condition (at least +98%) and has always been stored in either a gun sock and soft case or in the factory hard case. It is perfect for sporting clays and skeet and can be used for trap, as well.
Fabarm shotguns are a fantastic value for their price point with the quality and features of much more expensive guns. Receivers are machined from solid steel forgings and finished with a tenifer coating. Tenifer is a carbon nitriding process that produces an extremly hard surface that is 85% more corrosion resistant than hard chrome and is 99.9% salt water corrosion resistant.
Precision barrels are the heart of any quality shotgun. Fabarm barrels are no exception. Fabarm barrels are drilled from solid steel bars of chrome molybdenum steel rather than the more typical cold hammering process. Barrels are designed with the patented Tribore configuration. Tribore barrels feature extra long forcing cones, overboring to .735 with a conical area reducing the bore to .725. The extra long forcing cones and overboring reduce friction which in turn reduces felt recoil, minimizes pellet deformation and creates denser and measurably better distributed patterns. The concial reduced bore area increases pellet speed and produces better penetration.
Pick up a Fabarm and you will immediately notice its exceptional balance and pointability. Shoot a Fabarm and you will feel less recoil and witness the accuracy and precision of the Tribore barrels. Exacting wood to metal fit, replaceable trunnions, extra heavy conical locking lugs, triggers adjustable for length of pull to six positions, titanium coated top lever, trigger guard and forend bracket and oiled Turkish Walnut buttstock and forend are futher signs of the quality of Fabarm shotguns.
Included are Eight EXIS-F choke tubes, protective cloth sleeves for the barrels and receiver and buttstock, and a factory PVC case with combination locks.
