Developed by Mikhail Kalashnikov in the late 1950's it was created as part of a program designed to standardize the small arms inventory of the Red Army. The RPK continues to be used by the armed forces of countries of the former Soviet Union and certain African and Asian nations. This RPK, Model AES-10B is Romanian made by Cugir and was imported by Century Arms International. It was then made U.S. compliant using both new US made parts and original used surplus parts. This firearm has all matching numbers and still has the original Romanian chrome lined barrel. All wood is in excellent condition. This entire rifle is in absolutely excellent condition.
