Accepted Payment Methods: Returns: 3 Days Description: Rare and Desirable Colt Python in blue finish, manufactured in 1978 with a 2 ½ inch vented ribbed barrel and correct factory, wood grained box. Fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight, serrated trigger and checkered hammer with standard markings. Fitted with checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions. 99% with a few light handling marks and a very light cylinder drag line. The grips are excellent with a couple of light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically, this rare Python is excellent and “as new”. The styrofoam portion of the factory box is good, and the cardboard outer box is fair to poor with handling and edge marks, and both end flaps separated from the box. One end flap is present but not attached. The end flap that had the factory label is missing. The styrofoam box is correct for the 2 ½ inch Python, and bears the impression of the revolver being stored in the box at one time. Colt Python owner’s manual and papers.
