This is the ammo that our snipers were shooting for the last few years of the Viet Nam war. This ammo is still in the original excellent condition ammo cans that it was packed in at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant back in 1971. One of the ammo cans is completely full and the second can has 13 unopened boxes of ammo. The full ammo can contains 460 rounds each and the second can holds 260 rounds for a total of 720 rounds in 36 unopened boxes. This ammo has been continually stored in climate controlled conditions in the airtight cans, so it is in absolutely new condition and shoots as tight as any factory loaded match ammo that i have used. I have shot a great deal of this ammo over the years in a Savage Law Enforcement sniper rifle, a Remington 5R mil spec rifle, a Remington 700 PSS, a Winchester sniper rifle, and finally a DPMS Panther long range target rifle. This ammo shoots better than Federal Gold Medal Match in my guns and the LC Match brass has proven to be very good for reloading or it brings top dollar if you aren't a reloader. I have been selling this at local shows for $50 a box and I will take $35 (temporarily reduced from $40 per box) a box for the entire lot. Go out and check prices on recently manufactured match .308 ammo right now and you can see this collectible match ammo is a great price. I am not interested in selling individual boxes due to the hassles of shipping ammo.
