Serial number 11845xx dates to 1949. 28 inch barrel, full choke, receiver handles 2 3/4" shells. This model 12 is in very good used condition in most respects. It has not been reblued or refinished. The bore is bright like new. The action is in excellent working condition. Barrel finish is nearly perfect. Receiver finish is very good in front, but the back half of the right side and the trigger guard are pitted, evidently from carrying. Wood has no cracks but someone decided the stock needed a coat of varnish. The buyer may wish to strip and refinish this. The forend does not appear to have been recoated.
