The gun was bought in 1971, it is one of the 1st Uberti's to be imported, It is LNIB, the S/N 137x. It is made to handle the heaver 44-40 factory loads offered then, JSP loads. It has some different features than Uberti 1866 carbines have now. It has: an Oiled Walnut Stock, Blued Hammer and Level. It has: No Yellow Boy Markings, No Uberti Catalog Number, etc. It has less than a box of ammo thru it.
