Description: THIS IS AN ORIGINAL M1911 pre black model pistol It is "JMG" inspected (J.M. Gilbert) a rare inspector mark. Pistol is all correct and in exc+ mechanical condition 85% thinning finish. 2 Tone mag and correct but a little frosted barrel. It's original holster is in good + condition. Look at the pictures. The smudges you see on the finish are caused by the arsenal grease the pistol is coated with.....The grease is used to protect the remaining finish. THIS IS NOT AN ARSENAL REDO.
