We are offering for sale a rare and almost impossible to find Smith and Wesson Model No. 1 Second Issue Tip-Up Ser. No 56381. This is an extremely rare .22 short single action 7 shot non fluted cylinder with a 3 3/16" octagon barrel, bottom break, spur trigger, blued brass frame with blue barrel and cylinder, and square rosewood grips, flat side frame with irregular-shaped sideplate. 114,900 of these were manufactured between 1860-1868 This one is in NRA Excellent Antique condition most of the bluing is present as you can see. This gun is an investment that is only going to make you money over the years. This piece is spectacular for its age and condition, we also have three other pieces that are available for an investment package since I have a NO 1 1st issue, No 1 2nd issue, No 1 3rd issue and a No 2 Army TIP-UP. I will start the asking price for the entire set at $14,000 and entertain offers. It has not been seen a complete collection like this for, well I have never seen it. Actual piece is pictured. We only ship to FFL dealers on firearms required to be according to ATF Regulations. We do ship to C&R licensed persons for qualified firearms. As you may be aware California has decided it is not part of the United States and now all guns must be approved by the Department of Justice in California before shipping to an FFL dealer in California I call it the Californication factor and anyone living there should be suing the state every day. FAX copies of FFL’s are accepted but we will confirm authenticity by calling dealer (541) 474-9734. You are responsible to check your state laws concerning the legality of this weapon before bidding. We accept Cashiers Checks or Postal Money Orders only at this time. All firearms will be mailed with insurance and delivery confirmation. Buyer will pay for all shipping and handling costs. Shipping is usually $30.00 for hand guns and $40.00 (due to rate increases) for long guns and actual cost will be charged if more ., in the case of California we will surcharge shipping $10 for either rifles or pistols due to their unreasonable demand on us. We will combine for savings if more than one item is purchased.
