Originally developed for the Italian National Police's plain close officers. It is an enlarged version of the .380 ACP 84,single stack automatic. However, the 84F Model has a double stack magazine that holds 13 rounds of .380 ACP. This particular Model 84F was brought back from Europe by an Department of Naval Intelligence operative about fifteen years ago. It has an alloy frame for an unloaded weight of twenty-two ounces., Two Spare thirteen round magazine magazines for a total of three magazines. This pistol has a DA/SA trigger pull and sites that are fixed with the only exception of a latterly moveable rear sight blade. Leather gear includes belt worn Desantis belt holster an a dual magazine holder that with the addition of a Desantis Spyder crisscross harness will turn these two items into a shoulder holster.The bore on this weapon is shape and the function is perfect. Visually, this pistol looks like a half size Berretta 92F.The only visual flaw is a ring on the barrel where the weapon hits slide lock, Like almost all Berettas this 84F has an open top slide. All in all an unusual weapon with many extras. The reason that the price is so low is that the former owner was disabled in the line of duty, shot while armed with his issue Glock 26.
