Description: Very scarce, early Spanish M.1893 Mauser saddle ring cavalry carbine! Made by Ludwig Loewe, Berlin in 1894, as indicated by markings on the receiver. Espanol Modelo 1893, Manufactura Loewe, Berlin". Spain ordered in Germany 70,000 M.1893 rifles and 5,000 M.1893 carbines. Today, the original M.1893 Spanish Mauser carbine is very difficult to find! CONDITION: Very good+. The carbine is in its original condition and was not refurbished by Spanish arsenal. Metal has about 85% of blue, turning to uniform brown patina. Cal.: 7 x 57mm, rimless.
