Harpers Ferry Model 1842 Percussion Musket 69 cal Mech VG plus, Wood VG plus but has been sanded. Partial cartouche, Has a 42” Rd barrel with bayonet lug and VP proof marking. The lockplate is VG plus with strong Eagle US markings ahead of the hammer and Harpers Ferry 1854 to the rear of the hammer. Has an original US marked buttplate. Has a correct looking replacement ramrod . Metal overall has an aged grey finish with some fine pitting mainly on the buttplate.
