This rifle is representative of many that have come into the United States in the past few years. It is a Turkish model 1938 Mauser in 8x57 caliber, 8mm Mauser. This one has a 30 inch barrel. It is still in the grease it has been stored in for several years. We have not cleaned it thoroughly, nor do we intend to. From its siblings we have sold locally, we expect reasonable, cigarette-pack accuracy, and smooth functioning. Bolt and receiver do not have the same serial numbers.
