This is the standard version and features an 22" barrel and a 13.75" length of pull. But here is the exciting part...you can purchase stock modules that decrease the length of pull for young shooters! The stock features an interchangeable module that can adjust the comb height or the length of pull. The standard model comes with two modules, both for the standard LOP, one with a standard comb height and one with a higher comb for use with scopes. In addition, these rifles use the famous Ruger 10/22 magazines! The rifles are made in the same popular design as the original Ruger American Rifles and come standard with the free float barrel and patent-pending Power Bedding(R) integral bedding block system. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable(tm) trigger is crisp and is user adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds. They synthetic stock is lightweight, durable and ergonomic. The safety is mounted at the rear of the receiver where it is visible and easy to actuate without adjusting your grip or losing sight of your target. The target-crowned hammer forged barrel is finished in a satin blue. The 60-degree bolt provides ample scope clearance and the receiver has a 3/8" rimfire scope base machined into it, plus is drilled and tapped for Weaver #12 bases (not included).
