Description: John Rigby & Co. (Paso Robles mfg.) African Heavy Express Magnum Magazine Rifle chambered for .375 H&H Magnum. Reimer Johansen double square bridge, magnum length action and 24" Safari contoured bbl. Quarter rib w/ 2 folding-1 standing rear sight and a ramp front sight w/ pivoting sight hood and flip up night sight. Jeweled bolt body. Action, barrel, trap steel grip cap and trigger bow are rust blued, Classic Rigby drop magazine is French grayed and engraved w/ scroll and a Cape buff head. Grip cap and bolt knob having matching scroll. Classically shaped and perfectly laid out English walnut stock w/ a right hand pancake cheek piece and two steel cross bolts. The forearm has wrap checkering w/ Mullered borders and an ebony forend tip. The rear sling swivel is inletted and the front swivel is mounted to the barrel. Gun is used and appears to have been hunted. Some handling marks here or there, metal is also in good shape but signs of use, overall about 95% condition. Bore is perfect and includes 30mm fitted ERA scope rings. Has a 14 1/8" lop over 1" Decelerator and weighs 11 lbs. 6 oz. w/ out the rings attached.
