Description: John Rigby & Co. (Paso Robles mfg.) African Heavy Express Magnum Magazine Rifle chambered for .416 Rigby. Reimer Johansen double square bridge, magnum length action and 24" Safari contoured bbl. Quarter rib w/ 2 folding-1 standing rear sight and ramp front sight w/ a missing sight hood and a flip up night sight. Action, barrel, grip cap and trigger bow are rust blued, Classic Rigby drop magazine is French grayed and engraved w/ scroll and a Bulino style Cape buff head by Lisa Tomlin that is superb. Sides of the action and ERA 1" scope rings are also engraved w/ matching scroll. Gun has been restocked by Justin Sip of Utah in California English walnut w/ Mr. Sip's styled right hand cheek piece and sculpting around the bolt release and ejection port. The stock has two steel cross bolts w/ ebony caps, an ebony forend tip and two panel checkering w/ Mullered borders as well as a inletted and recessed rear sling swivel and steel trap grip cap w/ Rigby logo in gold. Has a 13 7/8" lop over 1" leather pad Decelerator and weighs 10 lbs. 3 oz. w/ out the rings attached. Gun is 98% overall, very nice!
