Serial number dates to 1973. The popular Nylon series rifles from Remington were made from 1. The stocks are made of a DuPont Nylon 66 series plastic developed specifically for these rifles. Remington was owned by DuPont at one time. The Nylon 66 has a 14 shot buttstock tube magazine, 19 5/8 inch blued barrel, and weighs just 4 pounds. This one is in excellent used condition. There are a just a couple of light scratches on the right side of the receiver, seen in photos. Stock is very nice, with just light handling marks. Bore is bright and shiny.
