Lee Speed No. 1 Pattern 375 x 2.5" Flanged express sporting rifle retailed by Army & Navy Cooperative Society Limited with military-type safety, serial # 128XX, Army & Navy # 642XX on bottom of trigger guard, has Army & Navy Co-op documentation. Flat top engine turned barrel rib, grip and fore-end fitted with horn caps, walnut stock, 4 shot magazine with standard 1 fixed, 2 folding leaf rear sight. Extensive floral engraving throughout action, magazine, floorplate, triggerguard and buttplate. Bore dark but with visible rifling. No dust cover. Rifle overall 80% condition or better. Extremely desirable rifle in the rare 375 x 2.5" Flanged caliber (largest caliber BSA produced in Lee Speed actions) and documented by Army & Navy Cooperative Society Limited as being sold to British officer in 1920.
