Lee Speed No. 2 Pattern express sporting rifle in 303 British. This Lee Speed is marked "W.W. Greener 68 Hay Market London" on the barrel. Classic 1 fixed, 3 folding express sights and equipped with a military-style safety. Horn fore-arm tip and grip cap. Serial # 26xx, 29.5” barrel, 49.5" OAL, 14" LOP. W. W. Greener number "433xx" on receiver ring and triggerguard. Round barrel with engraved dust cover, action, magazine, floorplate, triggerguard and buttplate. Express sight with 1 fixed, 2 folding & 1 elevator sight. Good rifling and rifle is a strong 80% or better. I have documentation from W.W. Greener that this rifle was bought from BSA&M in 1895.
